Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille

Where motoring meets art de vivre

Every two years, the lawns of the Château de Chantilly provide a spectacular backdrop for one of the most refined automotive events in Europe. Created by renowned organiser Peter Auto, Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille brings together classic cars, contemporary design and French elegance in a setting that feels almost timeless.

From the moment engines begin to purr beneath centuries-old trees, the event sets a distinctive tone. This is not simply a car show, but a carefully choreographed celebration where craftsmanship, beauty and heritage take centre stage — a quality recognised internationally with multiple Historic Motoring Event of the Year awards.

Exceptional cars in an exceptional setting

Throughout the day, visitors can admire an extraordinary line-up of vehicles during a series of prestigious competitions and rallies. Rare classics, immaculately restored icons and striking modern supercars glide across the estate, their details revealed up close: sculpted bodywork, polished grilles, elegant interiors and unmistakable silhouettes from legendary marques such as Bugatti, Alfa Romeo and Aston Martin.

Whether showcased in concours displays or seen in motion during the rallies, each car tells a story  of innovation, style and passion against the grandeur of one of France’s most beautiful historic estates.

A garden party inspired by French elegance

Beyond motoring, Chantilly Arts & Elegance is also a tribute to French art de vivre. The celebrated Le Nôtre gardens transform into a vast open-air garden party, where visitors are invited to relax, stroll and soak up a refined yet relaxed atmosphere. Art, lifestyle and gastronomy intertwine, evoking the charm of an Impressionist painting brought to life.

Inside the château, culture continues with access to the Musée de Condé, home to one of France’s finest collections of historic paintings, as well as temporary exhibitions that add further depth to the experience.

A day to share, discover and enjoy together

The estate’s parklands and the iconic Great Stables, home to the Horse Museum, are also part of the journey, offering insight into French heritage beyond the automobile world. With a range of free activities designed for all ages, the event encourages families, enthusiasts and curious visitors alike to enjoy a Sunday in the countryside — blending pleasure, discovery and shared moments.

A rare occasion where mechanical beauty, cultural heritage and relaxed elegance come together in perfect harmony.
